About Me

I like to think of myself as a curious soul. I know what I love, but I'm always open to talking about literally anything. People have told me they sometimes felt like they were being interviewed by me, and that my questions could feel a little intense. I promise I'm just genuinely interested in your passions. If you spend your weekends documenting abandoned buildings, I will genuinely want to know everything about it.

I'm originally from a small city in the greater Bari area, in the beautiful region of Apulia, Italy, mostly famous for its Burrata, which has since gone on to conquer the world.

Moving to Paris was the perfect excuse to finally play Fortnite all night without my mom yelling at me. More seriously, it was to pursue my studies at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where I studied philosophy. A lot of thinking was involved, sometimes too much, on things that maybe didn't need it.

My first Erasmus experience changed something in me. I'd always been drawn to foreign languages and cultures (I even attended an international language school growing up), but living abroad and collaborating with different NGOs sparked a deeper, more political curiosity about what it means to share a collective European identity.

I attended many Erasmus+ projects as a participant and enjoyed exploring different topics going from theatre to business courses. But as always I wanted to know more. I wanted to understand how it works being on the other side.

I was lucky enough to be able to collaborate on the implementation of a mobility and get a glimpse of what it means to set everything up. Turns out I enjoy making things run smoothly almost as much as I enjoy overthinking them.

For now, this website is my little side project. I'm building it, writing on it, and figuring out the rest as I go. If you want to see what's been on my mind lately, the blog is a good place to start.

The site Journey

2014

Early tech spark

I wanted really bad to have my own site and be able to tell people to check me on it. Started developing it with a popular CMS and made it last a few years beginning my journey into the tech world.

2024

Change of perspective

For almost a decade I have been using mostly US tech tools and services. I decided to shift to EU based technologies in order to fight monopolies and foster national tech sovereignty. Tho I must admit I'm still deeply attached to Apple for their software and hardware integration.

2025

Digital identity

In an effort to be less reliant on third parties for my emails, files and personal stuff I decided to buy my first personal domain. I carefully chose a registrant, email provider and started handing out my new cool address.

2026

Website development

I got inspired by some friends while talking about Neocities. That was a good resource to learn and try out basic web development. I later decided to level up the game in order to have a more serious looking site.

Why .eu?

Choosing .eu is a small, practical way to favour European infrastructure over non-local registries. It is one small choice among many that shows where you want your services and governance to be based.

The .eu top-level domain is managed by EURid, a Belgium-based registry that has run the namespace since 2005. EURid sets registration policies and coordinates with national registrars across member states.
